Project: Data migration and quality assurance for a new, critical data platform within the scientific and technical environment of a major international pharmaceutical company.

Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced Technical Data Project Manager to join us on behalf of our client, a large German consulting firm. In this role, you will support a critical platform migration within a scientific and technical environment for a multinational pharmaceutical enterprise. This position requires a senior professional who uniquely combines deep technical data analysis expertise with structured project management and rigorous oversight. The primary goal is to ensure a seamless migration to the new data platform and guarantee complete operational readiness before go-live, based on predefined Definition of Readiness (DoR) criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Control and monitor the entire DoR readiness and testing process as part of the platform migration.
  • Evaluate and validate test results from the technical delivery team against defined quality requirements.
  • Ensure that data analytics functionalities and platform requirements are fully met before go-live.
  • Identify quality gaps, risks, and open issues, and coordinate the necessary corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain status overviews regarding test progress, success rates, and existing readiness gaps.
  • Act as an interface between technical teams, specialist departments, and internal data analysis experts.
  • Moderate and participate in readiness and management meetings, representing quality requirements.
  • Ensure structured and seamless communication among all involved stakeholders.

Requirements

  • +4 years of experience in project management in complex IT projects, data platforms, or migrations.
  • Solid technical knowledge in data analysis, as well as hands-on experience with Python and cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to successfully combine deep, hands-on technical data analysis expertise with structured, meticulous project management and oversight.
  • Proven experience in evaluating technical test results, quality management, and testing processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including status tracking, reporting, and structured processes.
  • Ability to present complex technical information clearly to various non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to collaborating with technical teams and departments.
  • High degree of independence, assertiveness, and quality consciousness.
  • Fluency in Polish and advanced English (B2/C1).

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with agile consulting environments and German-speaking corporate cultures.
