Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Project Manager to join a global digital transformation initiative within the chemicals industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of individual website implementation projects, covering both transactional and non-transactional solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Digital, IT, Sales, Marketing, Product Management and various Business Units. The role requires a strong hands-on Project Manager who can independently manage complex digital implementations, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. While the position has global visibility and involves collaboration across regions and Business Units, the focus is on managing discrete projects rather than overseeing a broader programme of initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned digital and website implementation projects.
- Plan and coordinate project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
- Work closely with Product Management to track project roadmaps and priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Digital, IT, Sales, Marketing and Business Units.
- Establish and maintain project governance and control mechanisms.
- Identify, track and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Manage project schedules and ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, dashboards, RAID logs and status reports.
- Track project budgets, costs and other financial metrics.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Provide regular project status updates and escalate delivery risks when required.
- Support steering committee and leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to exchange best practices and continuously improve delivery processes.
- Ensure project outcomes remain aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional project management experience, preferably within digital transformation, website implementation or complex IT environments.
- Proven experience managing complex technology implementation projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional and international teams in a global or matrix organization.
- Solid understanding of Agile project management methodologies.
- Strong experience in project planning, schedule management, risk management and dependency coordination.
- Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize competing demands.
- Experience with budget management, project financial tracking and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned project delivery.
- Experience preparing and maintaining project artifacts such as roadmaps, timelines, dashboards, RAID logs and status reports.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 and project management tools.
- Fluency in Polish and advanced English (B2/C1)
Nice to have
- Experience with website, e-commerce or digital platform implementations.
- Experience delivering projects across multiple countries, regions or Business Units.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of SAFe Agile.
- Previous experience within the chemicals, manufacturing, industrial or another large global enterprise environment.
